This game reminds me of some ancient FGU games (like Bushido and Daredevils). The text is similarly dense, quite rules-heavy for just one page (and no backside to it either). The font choice may also be a factor.
Anyhow, Shr00m manages to maintain a matter-of-fact tone while still being funny. You’re not just any old shroom person, but a Lord who controls substrates, facing an “OverLord” and his minions. I see a lot of potential for mycological Domain level play.
